Job summary

Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) seeks a Deputy Chief Information Security Officer to lead cybersecurity strategy and operations within the Bureau of Enterprise Technology. You will oversee networks, systems, cloud environments, and critical security controls while coordinating incident response and governance across city partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of information security program management and implementation within government.
• Experience designing and implementing IT security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of threats, vulnerabilities, risk mitigation, and national/international frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security operations, vulnerability management, access management, endpoint and cloud security, security monitoring, and incident response.
• Coordinate investigations, containment, remediation, and recovery of cybersecurity incidents; support disaster recovery and business continuity.
