Job summary

The VP, Chief of Solution Strategy, Deputy CIO leads enterprise strategy, aligning technology with agency needs and driving cross‑functional execution across health IT, defense, and civilian programs.
You will shape strategic direction in collaboration with the CIO and BD/Program teams, while building staff capability and ensuring delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Business, or related field.
- 12+ years in technology leadership with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Experience leading solution strategy across multiple business units or program areas.
- Experience with GovCon, federal contracting, and Agile/SAFe environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the CIO’s Deputy, representing the technology organization in leadership discussions and cross‑functional decision‑making.
- Own and drive solution strategy across all business units by developing strategic technical approaches and roadmaps.
- Lead and develop staff across multiple teams with 1:1s, mentoring, and performance management.
- Translate the CIO’s direction into actionable plans, priorities, and execution roadmaps.
- Identify risks and organizational gaps and drive resolution proactively.
