Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Training and Support Equipment Deputy Chief Engineer to lead the IPT for the TACAMO program. The role requires extensive experience in aircraft systems, product support and spiral development across software and test domains.

The successful candidate will drive engineering decisions, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure design integrity and system performance while maintaining security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 14+ years on manned or unmanned aircraft systems.
• Master’s degree with 12+ years on manned or unmanned aircraft systems, or Ph.D. with 9+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required to apply and start the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and drive execution for the Training and Ground Systems IPT within TACAMO Program.
• Lead Supplier reviews of technical data, performance, trade studies and integration into the main NGC solution.
• Ensure SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR, PCA stages are met and align with verification efforts.
• Provide technical leadership and accountability for Supplier/Partner teams and oversee solution development.
