Job summary
Anduril Industries is seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer for the Tactical Recon & Strike division to lead cross-functional teams on Altius, Anvil, Bolt and Ghost development. Qualifications
- Senior role leading system design from concept to delivery
- Background in aerodynamics, IMUs, actuators and system performance
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with data analysis and rapid prototyping
- Hands-on prototyping of robotic systems
- Mechatronic design and sensor calibration
Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution from vision to production
- Develop systems for expeditionary operation and modular sensors
- Coordinate with SMEs and Business Development to fill capability gaps
- Craft system-level architecture for cost-effective design
- Define milestones and lead design reviews
- Coordinate fabrication and test efforts
- Ensure adequate resources with senior leadership
- Support remote troubleshooting of deployed systems
- Conduct hands-on field testing
- Create a verification and validation plan for the system
