Job summary

The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General seeks a Deputy Attorney General I–IV in the Insurance Fraud Section to investigate and prosecute insurance fraud from referral to sentencing. The role supports both investigative and prosecutorial phases across complex cases in Harrisburg or Norristown.

Telework is available after a two-day in-office requirement; work hours are 8:30–5:00. Must have a law degree and PA Bar, plus progressive legal experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of law and admission to the PA Bar.
• Three years of progressively responsible experience in professional legal work (DAG II).
• Six years of progressively responsible experience in professional legal work (DAG III, preferably as a criminal litigator).
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in professional legal work (DAG IV, preferably as a criminal litigator).

Responsibilities

• Investigates and prosecutes all forms of insurance fraud.
• Coordinates with investigators and other sections for complex cases.
• Represents the Commonwealth post-arrest through all trial and post-trial stages.
• Oversees charging documents and prosecutions as assigned by level.
