Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee depot level maintenance planning and execution in Kingsville, TX, ensuring timely completions and compliance with service directives.

The role requires leadership, strong documentation skills, and familiarity with DoD procedures. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid US driver’s license, and proficiency in MS Excel, Project, and PowerPoint. This is an on-site position with competitive benefits.

• In-depth knowledge of applicable technical manuals, service bulletins, maintenance manuals and work progress sheets.
• Knowledge of Technical Directives (TDs) and OPNAVINST 4790.2 series.
• Knowledge of basic supply procedures.

• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance planning, PMI, and TD incorporations to ensure schedules are met.
• Direct assigned personnel to complete maintenance on time and within quality standards.
• Coordinate maintenance actions with other work centers and authorize cannibalization as required.
• Direct employees on proper maintenance methods and procedures; assist in training as needed.
• Maintain required records and generate reports for the Government and management.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all duties associated with the assigned job classification. Oversee, as assigned, part or all of the following:

Program and Schedule Compliance

• Ensure Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
• Ensure Modification Line Technical Directive (TD) incorporations are complied with.
• Ensure Strip and Paint (S&P) schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
• Ensure Service Life Extension Program (SLEP)/Inlet schedules, inductions, and completions are complied with.
• Ensure In Service Repair (ISR) schedules and completions are complied with.

Workforce Direction and Coordination

• Assign and direct the productive efforts of assigned employees to ensure the timely completion of all required maintenance.
• Coordinate all maintenance-related actions with other affected work centers.
• Authorize cannibalization actions as required.
• Instruct assigned employees on proper maintenance methods and procedures as required.
• Assist in training programs as required for employees assigned to him/her.

Records, Reporting, and Quality

• Responsible for the satisfactory completion of assigned work and the preparation and maintenance of required records.
• Formulate necessary reports to the Government.
• Assist in mishap repairs/reports required for this program.
• Ensure required quality control inspections are complied with.
• Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
• May be required to perform simple computer input functions.

Safety, Security, and General Duties

• Enforce foreign object damage (FOD), hazardous waste, and tool control programs.
• Assist as directed to ensure the safety, security, and preservation of Government/Company-owned equipment.
• Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations applicable to the contract, facilities, and job assignment.
• May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Must have an in-depth knowledge of applicable technical manuals, service bulletins, maintenance manuals, maintenance forms, and work progress sheets.
• Must be knowledgeable of Technical Directives (TDs) and OPNAVINST 4790.2 series.
• Must be knowledgeable of and understand basic supply procedures.
• Must have experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
• Must have the ability to use good judgment, make sound decisions, and effectively direct the work of other employees. Employees designated as Lead must be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Must have the ability to accurately carry out written or verbal orders, instructions, and directives.
• Must be customer oriented.

Qualifications

Qualification Standards

• High school diploma or equivalent, minimum.
• 5 years of experience supervising and leading daily workload operations of personnel supporting scheduled and unscheduled Depot Level maintenance and repairs.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and MS PowerPoint
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC (Commons Access Card)
• Must have a Valid US Drivers License required

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

Physical Demands

This position is typically performed in an office/hangar environment and requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office/hangar activities. May be required to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

Work conditions may range from environments with little or no physical discomfort to conditions involving inclement weather, exposing individuals to severe changes in temperature, wind, and rain. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, or electrical shock hazards.
