Job summary

Indie Campers in Rutherford, NJ is seeking an Operations Manager to run daily depot operations with a hands-on approach. You will coordinate rental workflows, ensure fleet readiness, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering strong customer service.

The role requires 2–4 years in fast-paced operations, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends and peak periods. English is mandatory and French is a plus. Opportunities for growth and travel may be available.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in fast-paced operations, logistics, or hospitality.
• Strong hands-on operational capability and multitasking.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and peak periods.
• English proficiency is mandatory; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily depot operations and coordinate rental workflows (check-in/check-out, documentation, system updates).
• Track daily KPIs and manage fleet readiness in operations systems.
• Promote ancillary products through value-based selling.
• Conduct basic RV/van checks (battery, water systems, gas, lights, tyres).
• Escalate complex issues to regional servicing teams as needed.
• Coordinate shifts, priorities and task allocation for a small team.
• Oversee preparation and presentation of RVs for sales appointments.
