Job summary

SierTeK Ltd is seeking a Material Support Technician (Swing Shift) to support operations at Davis Monthan AFB, Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on depot material-control, inventory management, and hazardous-material handling in a dynamic maintenance environment.

Responsibilities include managing stock levels, processing material transactions, and coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure timely parts availability and compliance with DoD regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in material control, supply, inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
• Experience using computerized inventory, supply, or logistics-management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ability to research and analyze supply, inventory, and logistics information.
• Ability to communicate effectively with maintenance personnel, supply organizations, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform depot material-control and supply functions for maintenance production shops.
• Coordinate material-support activities with Production Support personnel.
• Research, analyze, and take corrective actions related to parts availability and supportability.
• Maintain on-hand inventory levels to support production requirements.
• Process supply transactions in ILS-S and other DoD systems.
• Maintain accurate hazardous-material inventory records and documentation.
