Job summary

Klosterman Baking Company in Lexington, KY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to break down and distribute product loads to proper routes, and to adjust plans as needed.

You will unload daily transports, rotate stock to routes, and keep accurate records of overages, shortages, and stock on hand. The role requires physical work, the ability to work overnight, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Warehouse loading/unloading experience (1 year preferred).
• Must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Break down and distribute product loads to proper routes and adjust as needed.
• Ensure products are routed to each route in a timely, orderly fashion.
• Unload product from daily transports.
• Reload transport with empty trays.
• Remove substandard product as necessary.
• Separate loads according to the load sheets.
• Rotate stock evenly to routes.
• Add or cut overages and shortages between routes.
• Keep records of stock product.
• Record all overages and shortages from each bakery.
• Maintain records and safety procedures while handling inventory.
• Work overnight as required.

• Break down and distributing product loads to proper routes and make adjustments where necessary
• Ensure appropriate products are to each route in a timely and orderly fashion
• Reports to Market Manager, Sales Supervisor, and/or lead person where applicable
• Unload product from daily transports
• Reload transport with empty trays
• Removes substandard product were necessary
• Separate loads according to the load sheets
• Properly rotate stock product evenly to routes
• Add or cut overages & shortages between routes
• Keep record of stock product
• Record all overages and shortages from each bakery
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid Driver Licenses
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Candidate must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly
• Previous experience in a warehouse position (Proffered)
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Candidate must be able to work overnight
