Job summary

HE Group in Durham Depot is seeking an experienced HGV driver to join an established team. You will collect and deliver a range of equipment across construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors, ensuring safe loading and unloading onto the vehicle.

The role requires a valid C+E licence, CPC card and DQC, with a willingness to work weekends and assist in yard duties as needed. Training may be provided for plant handling.

Qualifications

• UK HGV driving experience minimum 6 months.
• C+E Driving Licence, CPC Qualification Card, DQC required.
• Experience operating/moving plant is a plus; training can be given.
• Willingness to work some additional or weekend hours is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver equipment to customers across construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors.
• Load and unload construction equipment onto the lorry.
• Assist in yard duties when deliveries are complete.
• Participate in loading, unloading and safe handling of gear.
