Job summary

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd (CBUL) is seeking a hands-on driver/yard operative to join our field teams. You will transport materials and equipment to sites, help maintain a safe, organised yard, and support muck away and stock control activities across projects.

This role requires a full UK driving licence, Driver CPC, knowledge of civils and site operations, and the ability to work well in a team with occasional call-out duty.

Qualifications

• Experience in driver/yard/operative roles within construction
• Familiarity with civils and site activities
• Strong health and safety awareness and safe working practices
• Ability to load, secure and transport materials safely
• Good communication, organisation and time management
• Able to work in a team and on-call rota as needed
• CPC qualification and full UK driving licence required

Responsibilities

• Transport materials and equipment to and from sites
• Assist with muck away activities
• Maintain a safe, organised yard environment
• Monitor stock levels and manage plant/equipment
• Support operational teams on site
• Participate in 1-in-4 call-out rota for out-of-hours work
