Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation in California’s Lemoore region seeks an aircraft maintenance technician for depot-level repair across multiple military platforms. You will assist disassembly, repair, and installation of aircraft systems under supervision, supporting heavy-structure and military aviation work.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of relevant experience, and US citizenship with the ability to pass a NACI background check and pre-employment drug

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A&P license not required but a plus.
• Must have at least two years of relevant experience.
• Prefer experience from military fixed wing community or civilian heavy structure background.
• Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation experience.
• Must have Military installation DEPOT level maintenance experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must have a NACI which could include a credit check.

Responsibilities

• With oversight, assist in disassembly, repair, rework and installation of various systems and components such as wings, control surfaces, control systems, landing gear, arresting gear, fuel cells, instrumentation, and engines.
• Assist with installing hydraulic tubing, actuating cylinders, and cable controls.
• Assist in rigging, adjustment and tests on various flight systems including landing gear, flight controls, instruments, oxygen/ environmental systems and power plants.
• Assist in the installation of fuel system components to include self-sealing fuel cells and assist with the preservation or depreservation of aircraft or aircraft components.
• Take hydraulic or fuel contamination samples, perform corrosion control treatment, including chemical or mechanical removal of corrosion deposits, Form-in-Place (FIP) seal removal and a variety of general labor tasks relating to aircraft or aircraft systems maintenance.
• Performs fuel cell maintenance as designated.
• Other duties as assigned.
