Job summary

Requirements include a minimum of 4 years of aircraft mechanic experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance; you must provide your own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• AP license not required but a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of aircraft mechanic experience.
• E-2 experience preferred.
• Experience in heavy structure U.S. Military or related FAA or civil aviation.
• Must have Military, Intermediate and/or DEPOT level maintenance experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
• Drug-free workplace and post-offer/pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Reviews blueprints, schematics, and safety procedures while complying with engineering specifications and maintenance instructions.
• Disassemble, repair, and overhaul of components such as Tire/Wheel assemblies and landing gear.
• Repair engine mounts and wing support structures.
• Rig, adjust, and calibrate aircraft slings and related equipment.
• Assist Engineers with component discrepancies and investigations.
• Perform final testing and certification of assemblies.
