Job summary

Ford Motor Credit Company seeks a Deposit Operations Control Analyst to lead procedural governance, test internal controls, and manage departmental procedures. The role focuses on risk analysis, data reporting, and driving scalable, compliant operations for the new Bank.

The candidate will partner with the Director of Deposits and support reporting to management on operational health, ensuring processes are well-documented and resilient against regulatory risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Risk Management, Internal Audit, Regulatory Compliance, or Banking Operations.
• Strong knowledge of general banking operations, specifically deposit operations, treasury management, and payment rails.
• Proven experience in documenting process maps and identifying risks/controls within financial services.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (data analysis) and Word (technical writing).

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and standardize procedural documentation for Deposit Operations.
• Create and edit process flow diagrams and other visual aids to enhance the clarity of technical documentation.
• Track and update procedures based on audit findings, regulatory changes, and internal policy updates.
• Develop and lead the execution of First Line Testing to ensure frontline staff are processing in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Analyze testing exceptions and provide actionable recommendations to enhance internal controls or increase operational efficiency.
• Compile and generate daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reports and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Other duties as assigned.
