Job summary

UW Credit Union is seeking a driven Membership Services Assistant Manager to lead deposit operations and EFT initiatives. You will partner with the Senior Deposit Services Manager to drive operational excellence, enhance member experiences, and implement scalable processes.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to service quality. Onsite work in Madison is required, with collaboration across MSC, Retail, and Loss Prevention.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in business or related field.
• Three days onsite in Madison.
• 4+ years in financial services, deposits or EFT.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• AAP Certification, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and knowledge support in daily operations, ensuring coverage as needed and adherence to SLAs.
• Oversee the processing of daily transactions, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Enhance operations by identifying efficiency gaps and removing member pain points, proposing and implementing new processes.
• Refine quality assurance to boost service standards and regularly assess staff performance in member engagement.
• Engage in year-end tax reporting, system updates, and escheatment reporting; develop monthly management reports with accurate data.
• Foster a service environment that upholds the Service Philosophy.
• Leverage data-driven metrics to support operational excellence, focusing on member experience and trends for management.
• Champion the vision of Membership Services among team members and stakeholders.
• Engage in cross-functional projects, offering insights and expertise.
• Ensure adherence to policies on account opening, maintenance, and closure to maintain compliance and integrity.
• Collaborate with MSC, Retail, and Loss Prevention to update procedures; monitor regulatory changes.
