Job summary

Randstad USA in Vernon, CA seeks a production line operator to set up depositor equipment, monitor safety, and ensure accurate dough portioning in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will adjust machines, verify weights, and maintain production records while upholding GMP, SQF, GDPs and OSHA standards.

Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented and able to work 05:00 AM to 03:00 PM in a on-site facility; prior bakery or food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate depositor equipment safely and efficiently.
• Make adjustments to depositor machine as needed.
• Check scale for accuracy and set correct weight.
• Cut sections from dough and deposit into feed hopper.
• Roll empty dough table to mixer to receive new batch of dough.
• Read shop reports, follow procedures, and document production records.
• Tend depositor machine at all times.
• Report food safety or quality problems to authorized personnel.
• Follow food safety plans (FSP), SQF, GMPs, GDPs, and OSHA rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Reads shop report, follows procedures, and documents information for production records.
• Tends depositor machine at all times.
• Report any food safety or quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Follows J&J Snack Food's Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
• Follows all OSHA safety rules and all food safety laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
