Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) is hiring for a Deposit Operations/Data Entry role. The position supports entering, maintaining, and verifying customer and deposit account information, including CDs, debit cards, and safe deposit boxes, while ensuring compliance with bank guidelines.

The role requires strong typing skills, organization, and the ability to multi-task. Hours are 40 per week, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, pension, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of data processing and banking experience preferred.
• Able to multi-task and work under time constraints.
• Proficient typing and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Enter, maintain and verify customer and deposit account information (CDs, Debit Cards, Safe Deposit).
• Open, maintain, and close accounts as needed.
• Process changes to restricted accounts and monetary holds; balance EFT batches.
• Maintain Account Analysis records and review maintenance requests for accuracy.
