Open Bank is seeking an SDC Operations Officer I to join the Specialty Deposit Center in Los Angeles. The role covers opening, maintaining, and servicing deposit accounts with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

You will handle inquiries, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with bank policies. A Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of banking ops experience is required, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in general bank operations or related field.
• Broad knowledge of deposit operations and lending functions.
• Ability to analyze and organize financial information.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries related to deposits, wire transfers, online banking, and account maintenance.
• Research and resolve client issues by coordinating with internal departments.
• Provide exceptional customer service with confidentiality and compliance.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email regarding inquiries and service requests.
• Monitor and respond to emails, voicemails, and service requests within SLAs.
• Assist clients with account-related documentation and forms.
• Escalate complex or high-risk matters to management when necessary.
• Support daily operational activities to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal controls, and policies.
• Keep informed of bank products, policies, and regulations.
