• Collaborate with Sales and IT on new systems, enhancements, or testing.
• Serve as SME on documentation, systems, processes, policies, compliance, and regulations related to deposit operations.
• Oversee day-to-day management of team members and escalate complex transactions as needed.
• Pursue ongoing education and required regulatory training.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Deposit Operations Servicing, Lead is responsible for leading, training, and overseeing the day to day activities of the Deposit Operations Specialists team. This role maintains a strong client focus and partners closely with Sales and IT to deliver exceptional client experience while ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires a high level of accuracy, organization, and initiative. The Lead serves as the primary resource for mentorship, training, testing, and escalation of complex transactions.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Ensure client accounts are accurately established and maintained, and that check files are prepared and processed within established service level agreements.
• Research and resolve time sensitive or technically complex requests, providing guidance to the team to ensure accurate handling.
• Use reporting to identify improvement opportunities, monitor performance, and set clear expectations.
• Create, update, maintain, and train team members on servicing processes and procedures.
• Collaborate on projects and work with internal partners to develop new systems, enhance existing systems, or conduct testing.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on documentation, systems, processes, policies, compliance, and regulations related to deposit operations.
• Resolve problems with minimal guidance and make general operational escalation decisions.
• Oversee day to day management of team members and demonstrate advanced knowledge of deposit requirements and systems.
• Pursue ongoing education and complete required regulatory, compliance, and skills based training.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience in the financial industry.
• 7-10 years of experience in a Deposit Operations role.
• Strong knowledge of deposits, bank operations, products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage high volume, time sensitive work while staying organized.
• Flexibility and adaptability with a commitment to continuous improvement and a positive team environment.
• Strong leadership and decision making skills.
• High attention to accuracy and detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

BASE PAY:

$65,000 - $75,000 annually depending on applicable experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
