Job summary

Citizens Independent Bank in Robbinsdale, MN is seeking an experienced Deposit Operations Representative to support consumer and business deposit products, digital banking, debit card operations, ACH processing, fraud monitoring and overall deposit operations functions. • Handle debit card operations including disputes and Regulation E requests.

We are seeking an experienced Deposit Operations Representative to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting consumer and business deposit products, digital banking services, debit card operations, ACH processing, fraud monitoring and overall deposit operations functions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities and consistently meet critical deadlines while providing exceptional service to both customers and bank employees. Accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and the ability to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity are essential for success in this role.

This is a full-time position located at our Robbinsdale branch, Monday through Friday, with rotating Saturday morning scheduling.

What You'll Do

Digital Banking Administration

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Online Banking, Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit and other digital banking services.
• Perform setup, maintenance, administration and troubleshooting for consumer and business online banking customers.
• Provide support to customers and employees through phone, email, secure messaging and other service channels.
• Monitor online services for suspicious or fraudulent activity and take appropriate action when necessary.

Deposit Operations

• Perform account maintenance and servicing functions for consumer and business deposit accounts.
• Process stop payments, account changes, corrections, research requests and exception items.
• Complete balancing and reconciliation activities while ensuring operational accuracy.
• Support document imaging, record retention and other operational processes.

Debit Card Administration

• Card ordering, processing, reporting and customer support.
• Process and resolve debit card disputes, fraud claims and Regulation E requests.
• Monitor card activity and identify unusual transaction patterns.

ACH & Treasury Management Support

• Process ACH transactions, returns, Notifications of Change (NOCs) and exception items.
• Serve as backup support for Cash Management services.
• Assist with business online banking, Positive Pay, ACH origination and Remote Deposit Capture support and maintenance.
• Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of treasury management solutions.

Fraud Prevention & Risk Management

• Monitor deposit, ACH, debit card and online banking activity for potential fraud.
• Investigate suspicious activity and elevate concerns as appropriate.
• Support compliance with NACHA rules, BSA/AML requirements, OFAC regulations, Regulation E and other applicable banking regulations.

Process Improvement & Team Support

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, service levels and internal controls.
• Participate in system testing, upgrades and implementation projects.
• Maintain and update department procedures and documentation.
• Complete special projects and research requests as assigned.
• Provide cross-functional support throughout the Deposit Operations Department.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of One to three years of banking experience in Deposit Operations, Digital Banking, ACH, Management or a related banking operations role.
• Working knowledge and experience with Jack Henry banking systems is required, including SilverLake, Banno, Xperience, Synapsys, and other Jack Henry integrated applications.
• Strong understanding of deposit products, digital banking platforms and operational processes.
• Demonstrated ability to identify suspicious or fraudulent activity.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read, understand and follow policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional education in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• ACH processing and NACHA rules experience.
• Cash Management experience.
• Debit card operations and dispute processing experience.
• Community banking experience.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
