Catapult Staffing Group is hiring two Deposit Operations Analysts to support core banking conversions for banks and credit unions nationwide. You’ll help through design, data mapping, testing, training, and go-live, with a clear path to a permanent role after 18 months.

You’ll travel 50–60% and work extended hours during testing and go-live, including evenings and weekends. A bachelor’s degree in finance or business is a plus, and 5–7 years of deposit operations experience is expected.

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

Catapult Staffing Group is partnering with a leading financial technology provider that serves banks and credit unions across the country. They need two Deposit Operations specialists to help financial institutions move to new core banking systems. You’ll work alongside the client team through every phase of a conversion: design, data mapping, training, testing, and go-live. If you know how deposit operations work behind the scenes and you like being the person a bank leans on during a big change, this role is a good fit. It also comes with a clear path to a permanent position.

What You’ll Do

• Support core conversions and implementations from design through post-conversion
• Review conversion data and mapping for deposit/DDA products

What You Bring

• About 5–7 years of banking experience, with hands-on DDA or back-office deposit operations work

• Experience with testing, validation, and implementation work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort working on your own in a fast-paced setting
• Clear, confident written and verbal communication
• Willingness to travel 50–60% and to work extended hours during testing and go-live, including evenings, weekends, and some late nights

Nice to Have

• EIP (Electronic Image Processing) experience
• Core conversion or bank merger experience, on any core platform
• Experience preparing clients for system implementations

Education

A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus. Equivalent banking operations experience is also considered.

• $35-$40/hour (W-2)
• All business travel expenses covered: airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation
• Hands-on training: you’ll shadow a senior analyst, work through simulated conversions, and take structured classes
• Expected conversion to a full-time role after 18 months
