Job summary

Sidney Federal Savings & Loan seeks a Chief Deposit Officer to lead the bank's deposit strategy, pricing, and product development. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to build a stable funding base and growth in core deposits and specialized programs.

The CDO will manage relationships with executives, lenders, regulators, and major clients, traveling as needed to support business development and governance. Strong governance and liquidity focus required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or economics; banking education preferred.
• 10+ years banking experience with executive leadership experience.
• Proven success in growing deposits and funding strategies.
• Experience presenting to boards and executive committees.
• Specialty deposit and treasury management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise-wide deposit growth strategy.
• Lead pricing, product development, treasury and deposit initiatives.
• Oversee relationship management and deposit marketing programs.
• Collaborate with CFO and Board ALCO to improve liquidity metrics.
• Develop and manage specialty deposit programs including escrow deposits.
• Travel regularly to manage key relationships and opportunities.
