Job summary

Optimized, Inc. is seeking a Deployments Lead to own customer deployments end-to-end, from discovery to go-live and adoption.

You will work closely with procurement and planning teams to convert operations into reliable AI agent workflows, and you will drive process improvements and change management to realize measurable value. You will shape the deployment function, build playbooks, and mentor a growing team while influencing the product roadmap with field insights and strong executive

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading complex, full‑lifecycle supply chain or procurement software implementations.
• Deep fluency across procurement and/or planning with proven delivery results.
• Hands-on with integrations, data readiness, solution configuration and change management.
• Comfortable in ambiguous, high-stakes environments with process-building mindset.
• Strong executive presence and ability to earn trust of leaders and IT stakeholders.

Job description

Optimized deploys AI agents into the operations that run the physical economy: the procurement and planning teams at Fortune 500 manufacturers and government organizations. The hardest part is getting an agent deeply integrated, adopted by skeptical operators, and driving measurable results in production, and we need a deployments lead to own it.

As our first Deployments Lead, you'll take full ownership of customer deployments while building the deployment function from the ground up. You'll run implementations end-to-end across procurement (sourcing, S2P, spend) and planning (demand/supply, S&OP/IBP, inventory), bringing the rigor you've honed on large-scale supply chain projects to next-generation AI agents, with far greater autonomy, direct influence on the product roadmap, and meaningful equity.

Compensation range for this role is $195,000 - $285,000 + equity.

What you’ll do

• Own deployments end-to-end: You'll run implementations from discovery through go-live and hypercare, owning integrations, data mapping, agent configuration, UAT, and adoption until real value like inventory reduction, sourcing efficiency, or forecast accuracy is realized.
• Partner with the operators: You'll work side by side with procurement and planning teams to turn their real-world operations (S2P, spend, S&OP/IBP, inventory, demand/supply) into reliable agent workflows, navigating the stakeholder, IT, and change-management realities you already know well.
• Be the voice of the customer: You'll bring what you learn in the field back to engineering, identifying gaps and prioritizing the enhancements that make the product better with every deployment.
• Build the deployment function: You'll design and institutionalize the methodology, playbooks, templates, and tooling that make each implementation faster and higher quality than the last.
• Coach as you scale: You'll deliver hands-on in the early wave, then hire, train, and lead the next layer of the deployment team as we grow.

What you’ll bring

• Have 7+ years leading complex, full-lifecycle supply chain or procurement software implementations at o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Celonis, Coupa, Anaplan, SAP Ariba/IBP, Palantir, or equivalent
• Have deep functional fluency across procurement (sourcing, S2P, spend) and/or planning (demand/supply planning, S&OP/IBP, inventory optimization), paired with strong delivery execution
• Have hands-on experience with integrations, data readiness, solution configuration, and change management, and have driven measurable business outcomes in live operations
• Are comfortable in ambiguous, high-stakes environments, and you build new processes and capabilities rather than only following established playbooks
• Have strong executive presence and can quickly earn the trust of operational leaders and IT stakeholders at large enterprises
• Are excited to move from delivery or consulting into a high-ownership role where you shape both the function and the product
