Job summary

Optimized, Inc. is seeking a Deployment Strategist to bridge consulting, operations, and customer success during deployments. You will run discovery with procurement and planning teams, map current processes, and drive training, change management, and adoption to make live AI agents a daily habit.

You will own relationships during deployments, coordinate with deployment engineers, and track outcomes such as inventory reduction and sourcing efficiency to prove value and inform iteration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in consulting, implementation, operations, or a customer-facing role
• Highly organized and able to move a complex project and multiple stakeholders
• Strong communicator who builds trust easily with both operators and senior stakeholders
• Comfortable explaining a technical product simply
• High-agency, thrives in ambiguity, eager to grow into broader ownership
• Familiarity with procurement or planning concepts (S2P, S&OP/IBP, inventory)

Responsibilities

Job description

Optimized deploys AI agents into the operations that run the physical economy: the procurement and planning teams at Fortune 500 manufacturers and government organizations. Technology alone doesn't create value; someone has to understand the customer’s world and drive real adoption, and we need a deployment strategist to own that.

As a Deployment Strategist, you’ll be the connective tissue of a deployment: running discovery, mapping how a customer actually runs procurement and planning, and driving the training, change management, and adoption that turn a live agent into a habit. You’ll partner closely with our Deployment Engineers and Deployments Lead, and grow quickly into deeper ownership of accounts and outcomes.

Compensation range for this role is $120,000 - $165,000 + equity.

What you’ll do

• Run discovery: You’ll sit with procurement and planning teams to understand their processes, pain, and goals, and turn that into a clear plan for the deployment.
• Map the customer’s world: You’ll document how work actually flows across S2P, spend, S&OP/IBP, and inventory so our agents fit the operation instead of fighting it.
• Drive adoption: You’ll lead training, build the materials, and do the hands‑on change management that gets skeptical operators to trust and use the product.
• Own the relationship day to day: You’ll be the reliable point of contact during a deployment, keeping stakeholders aligned and momentum high through go‑live.
• Measure what matters: You’ll track the outcomes that prove value, like inventory reduction or sourcing efficiency, and feed lessons back to the team.

What you’ll bring

• Have 2+ years in consulting, implementation, operations, or a customer-facing role, ideally in supply chain, procurement, or enterprise software
• Are highly organized and can keep a complex project and multiple stakeholders moving
• Are a strong communicator who builds trust easily with both operators and senior stakeholders
• Are comfortable getting into the details of a business process and explaining a technical product simply
• Are high-agency, thrive in ambiguity, and are eager to grow into broader ownership
• Bonus: familiarity with procurement or planning concepts (sourcing, S2P, S&OP/IBP, demand/supply, inventory)
