Job summary

Nominal is seeking a Deployment Systems Specialist to build high-scale, mission-critical infrastructure for advanced hardware systems. You’ll deploy in restricted and self-hosted environments, travel to end-user sites, and own deployments end-to-end, collaborating with top engineers.

You’ll scale deployments across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments, drive repeatable processes, and contribute to observability and tooling improvements while balancing speed and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production infrastructure and distributed systems.
• On-prem / edge / restricted environments experience.
• Security, compliance, and accreditation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support in restricted and self-hosted environments, owning runbooks and onboarding.
• Travel to customer sites and work with engineering and IT teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Build repeatable deployment patterns across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Identify high-impact infrastructure challenges and help shape roadmap priorities.
• Improve observability, automation, and tooling to simplify deployments.
