Job description

About Ease Health

Ease Health is building the AI-native operating system for behavioral health. Today, providers rely on fragmented systems across EHR, CRM, billing, scheduling, and documentation. The cost shows up as operational drag, staff burnout, and revenue that never gets collected. Nobody goes into behavioral health to fight their software. Ease is the team changing that.

We’ve raised $41M from leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, along with BoxGroup, Abstract Ventures, F3 Partners, and Sunflower Capital, and we’re partnering with leading behavioral health organizations across the country while rapidly expanding our product and team.

Role mission

We’re signing enterprise healthcare organizations at a pace that’s pushing us to build out deployments as a dedicated function. The person we hire gets to define how it scales.

You’ll own enterprise deployments end to end — from a signed contract to an organization of hundreds of clinicians and billers running their entire day on Ease. You’ll spend real time on site in our customers’ facilities, lead a pod of clinical, RCM, and engineering SMEs, and turn what you see on the floor into product: prototypes, PRDs, and features that ship. You’ll sit between our product, engineering, clinical, and RCM teams and the customer’s, and you’ll be accountable when a go-live is at risk.

This role is operational and it’s for builders. It is not account management, project management with a healthcare label on it, or an escalation queue — and you won’t be loading forms into the system or doing configuration data entry. Execution alone doesn’t get a customer live. It takes someone who understands how providers actually run, can hold a room of competing stakeholders, and can connect what our product does to what a clinic’s success is measured on. You decide what the system should do, then make it happen — writing the playbooks while running live accounts.

What you’ll do
  • Embed on site with customers. Sit with intake coordinators, shadow clinicians, watch a biller work a denial. The best design decisions come off the floor, not out of a process doc
  • Lead an implementation pod — clinical, RCM, and engineering SMEs assigned to your accounts. None of them report to you; all of them run on your plan, sequencing the rollout and owning the training plan
  • Build. Prototype the workflow, write the PRD, sit with engineers until it ships. What you learn on site becomes product, not a backlog ticket
  • Own the calls that decide whether Ease works for providers: data migration strategy, integrations, and the payer, billing, and clinical configuration that determines whether a provider gets paid
  • Hold the line on bespoke requests that don’t generalize, and on the customer commitments that decide whether a go-live lands
  • Run the plan of record — the tracker, the status, the dependencies — tracking progress in a metrics-based way while smelling the smoke early and escalating while a risk is still a risk
  • Present to any room, from an intake coordinator to a customer CEO, and turn a messy deployment into a clear story and scorecard: where we are, what’s blocked, what we need, and what’s next
  • Turn what you learn into the playbooks, templates, and automations the next deployment runs on, and feed it back into the product roadmap
What we value
  • Owner mindset — you do the homework first, ask sharp questions of the right people, and when there’s no answer to be found you make the call rather than escalating the vacuum
  • The search for failure modes — you’d rather watch someone work than read their process doc, and you find the exceptions before they bite
  • Cross-functional leadership — you lead people who don’t report to you, ours and the customer’s, and get a decision out of a room that disagrees
  • Flying at multiple altitudes — you know what has to happen by tomorrow, and what has to be true in three months
  • Hyper organization — several enterprise accounts at once, nothing dropped, anyone can see where each stands without asking
  • Detail — in behavioral health, the details are never small. They’re clinical, financial, and they affect real patients
  • Judgment and low ego — you know when to escape and when to handle it, and the outcome matters more than the credit
What we require
  • 3–7 years in management consulting, investment banking, or a deployment or forward-deployed role. If your background is different but you’ve owned highly complex client work end to end, apply anyway
  • Deployment fluency — you don’t need to be an expert, but you understand workflows, integrations, change management, training, and adoption well enough to jump in
  • A genuine appetite for customer-facing work. This role is heavily in the room and on site with customers, and occasional travel comes with it
Bonus points
  • Healthcare and revenue cycle exposure — you know how a claim flows
  • Founder energy — you’ve either founded your own venture or spent time building 0 → 1 at a company scaling faster than its processes
  • Extremely AI-pilled — real AI fluency and a hunger to increase it
  • Based in New York City and able to join us five days a week in our NoMad office when you’re not with a customer
Location

In person in New York City, or remote for the right person. This role runs on being in the room — with our team, and with customers. Occasional travel to customers is expected.
