Job summary

Cerebre is a remote-first company looking for a Deployment Strategist who will bridge customers, technology, and business. You will partner with strategic customers to understand operations, identify high-value use cases, and shape deployments with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes.

• 5+ years in technology consulting or similar customer-facing roles.

• Fluent English, C1 or better.
• U.S. based and willing to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer problems: Work directly with customers to understand their goals, workflows, pain points, and technical environment.
• Identify and shape solutions: Translate customer challenges into high value use cases and work with Product and Engineering to define the right approach.
• Own customer engagements: Lead strategic deployments from discovery and scoping through implementation, adoption, and value realization.
• Build deployment and customer processes: Create and improve deployment and customer engagement processes from scratch, bringing structure to how we scope, deliver, and scale customer engagements.
• Build trusted relationships: Partner with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to senior executives, managing expectations, and navigating competing priorities.
• Support commercial opportunities: Work with Sales to shape proposals, communicate business value, and identify opportunities to expand customer relationships.
• Connect customers and engineering: Translate between business and technical teams, keeping both sides aligned on priorities, capabilities, and delivery.
• Drive adoption and value: Ensure solutions reach production, are successfully adopted, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Bring insights back to cerebre: Turn customer feedback into actionable input for Product and Engineering.

About the role

As a Deployment Strategist , you will work at the intersection of our customers, technology, and business. You will partner with strategic customers to understand their operations, identify high - value problems, and determine how Cerebre can solve them. You will then work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to turn those opportunities into successful deployments and measurable business outcomes. You will own the customer problem and outcome , from discovery and solution shaping through deployment, adoption, and expansion.

Location

Remote, with strong preference for candidates based in Houston, TX; open to CST/EST time zones

Required Skills

• 5+ years in technology consulting, solution consulting, enterprise software deployment, solution engineering, technical customer success, or a similar customer facing role.
• Strong experience working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to turn complex business problems into technology solutions and implementation strategies.
• Experience owning customer engagements from discovery through delivery and adoption.
• Strong commercial mindset and experience partnering with Sales or Business Development.
• Technical fluency and comfort working with engineers. You should understand APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and enterprise software well enough to ask the right questions.
• Strong ownership, communication skills, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Fluent English, C1 or better.
• U.S. based and willing to travel up to 25%.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industrial technology, enterprise SaaS, data platforms, AI, or digital transformation.
• Experience in oil and gas, chemicals, power, manufacturing, utilities, or life sciences.
• Experience in consulting, presales, solution engineering, business development, or strategic customer success.
• Familiarity with industrial data and OT systems, including P&IDs, SCADA, MES, or historians.
• Experience delivering AI, ML, data engineering, analytics, or enterprise software solutions.
