Job summary

Steelhead Technologies in Brighton, MI is seeking a Deployment Specialist to bridge our software with customer success. You will lead deployment, deliver hands-on training, and ensure smooth adoption of the Steelhead platform.

You will travel to client sites across the United States up to 30-50%, collaborate with internal teams, and drive continuous improvement in deployment processes while building strong customer relationships and measurable value.

• Respond promptly to calls, texts and emails, delivering critical knowledge and technical help.
• Build trusted relationships with customer contacts to create advocates for Steelhead.

About the role

This is a full-time, on-site position in Brighton, MI. As a Deployment Specialist, you will be the bridge between Steelhead's technology and our customers' success. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive value, build long-term relationships, and support continuous improvement in our deployment processes. You'll guide and assist organizations through deployment, deliver hands-on training, and ensure smooth adoption of the Steelhead platform.

What you'll do

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Customer Success Organization (deployment, customer support, and customer outcomes) in all capacities, largely comprising of configuration and training (internal and external) tasks.
• Assist and train customers in their deployment of the Steelhead software.
• Travel to customer locations around the United States to support the Customer Success organization.
• Consistently pursue continuous improvement opportunities in the deployment process, tools, cross functional collaboration, customer training, etc.
• Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, and emails promptly; provide critical knowledge and technical support.
• Build relationships with customer contacts to create advocates of Steelhead. Generate trust and credibility at multiple levels in existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, on-site team environment.

• Experience in the manufacturing or software industry is a plus but not required.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 65,000 USD per year (Brighton Office)
