Steelhead Technologies is seeking a Deployment Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Brighton, MI. You will bridge Steelhead’s technology and customer success by guiding deployments, delivering hands-on training, and ensuring smooth adoption of the Steelhead platform across diverse manufacturing customers.

You will support deployment, collaborate with internal teams, and travel within the United States to drive value and continuous improvement.

• Support deployment, configuration and training tasks within the Customer Success Organization.
• Assist and train customers in deploying the Steelhead software.
• Travel to customer sites across the United States to support deployment efforts.
• Continuously pursue improvements in deployment processes and cross-functional collaboration.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, text, and email with timely, accurate support.
• Build relationships with customer contacts to create advocates and trust across accounts.

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site position in Brighton, MI. As a Deployment Specialist, you will be the bridge between Steelhead’s technology and our customers’ success. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive value, build long‑term relationships, and support continuous improvement in our deployment processes. You’ll guide and assist organizations through deployment, deliver hands‑on training, and ensure smooth adoption of the Steelhead platform.

What you'll do

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Customer Success Organization (deployment, customer support, and customer outcomes) in all capacities, largely comprising of configuration and training (internal and external) tasks.
• Assist and train customers in their deployment of the Steelhead software.
• Travel to customer locations around the United States to support the Customer Success organization.
• Consistently pursue continuous improvement opportunities in the deployment process, tools, cross functional collaboration, customer training, etc.
• Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, and emails promptly; provide critical knowledge and technical support.
• Build relationships with customer contacts to create advocates of Steelhead. Generate trust and credibility at multiple levels in existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

The pay range for this role is:

55,000 - 65,000 USD per year (Brighton Office)
