Base is scaling from hundreds to thousands—and soon hundreds of thousands—of battery deployments across the country. As our footprint grows, so does the complexity of the materials ecosystem surrounding each installation. We are seeking an Operations Specialist to own the day-to-day management of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, subcontractor consigned inventory, and deployment-specific parts—ensuring every field team has exactly what they need, exactly when they need it.
This role sits at the intersection of supply chain operations, systems thinking, and field enablement. You will be accountable for building programs from scratch, standardizing workflows, and integrating them into our in-house systems to enable hands-off scalability.
The Deployments Warehousing & Logistics team is responsible for the physical infrastructure that makes Base installs possible—managing warehouse locations, orchestrating inter-warehouse transfers, running final-mile logistics, and ensuring inventory accuracy across our internal systems. We solve the difficult, high impact problems that determine whether crews show up to job sites ready to work. Joining this team means owning processes that directly impact Base's ability to scale and deliver on its mission.
