Job Summary

The Deployment Manager, under the Program Manager's guidance, will coordinate network and AMI endpoint activities to install system assets according to a joint deployment plan with the utility. Responsibilities include communication with stakeholders, material forecasting, inventory management, field audits, process improvement, and reporting. The role may be dedicated to one or multiple projects depending on scope.

Must be bilingual (English & French)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate deployment plans with the utility.
  • Oversee metering endpoint and network deployment efforts, managing installation subcontractors.
  • Lead the L+G AMI endpoint and network deployment SMEs.
  • Manage subcontractors ensuring safety, quality, and professionalism.
  • Assist in addressing deficiencies during testing/deployment.
  • Manage logistics for AMI endpoints and network materials.
  • Review and improve deployment and sampling processes.
  • Oversee audit processes and implement improvements.
  • Develop deployment plans and monitor progress.
  • Ensure milestones are met and manage customer complaints.
  • Escalate issues as needed and provide technical guidance.
  • Coordinate supply chain activities and report safety and project data.
  • Validate invoices and support company values.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and represent the company professionally.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Customer-focused with effective process management.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 75-80%.
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and KPIs.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including military/industry background.
  • At least 5 years in customer service/technical support, preferably in utility operations or related fields.
  • Experience with AMI, RF systems, and logistics preferred; CAPM certification is a plus.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily office work with occasional field activities.
  • Driving up to 80% of the time.
  • Physical ability to handle objects and work in safety gear.
  • Adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements.
