Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an experienced deployment architect/engineer to oversee architectural conformance across active data-center construction sites. You will ensure life-safety and envelope compliance, coordinate with engineers, contractors, and AHJs, and drive permitting to keep projects on schedule.

Travel up to 50% across jurisdictions, manage RFIs and submittals, and hand off completed sites to operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience as owner’s representative or developer-side architect on data center or large-scale construction.
• On-site accountability through substantial completion and occupancy certificate.
• Strong knowledge of IBC, IFC, occupancy classification, egress, and fire-rated assemblies.
• Experience managing RFI and submittal processes under schedule pressure.
• Maintained FM Global envelope and life-safety compliance during active construction.
• Ability to travel 50% of the time across jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural conformance across active construction sites.
• Drive AHJ and permitting execution at deployment sites.
• Manage architectural RFI and submittal process with engineer of record.
• Enforce FM Global envelope and life-safety compliance.
• Own punch list from substantial completion through final acceptance.
