Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking an architectural engineer to own the architectural scope for data-center projects, ensuring envelope, code compliance, and life safety from review through closeout.

You will review packages for constructability and conformity to the reference design while driving permitting and AHJ coordination to avoid schedule delays. Strong envelope/detail expertise is essential; licensed architect status and data center experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Architectural engineering or architecture experience on industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of building code and life safety at the chapter-and-section level.
• Experience running AHJ relationships and getting to yes on nonstandard designs.
• Ability to catch envelope details that leak before construction.
• Bonus: Licensed architect, data center projects, modular envelope systems, code consulting background.

Responsibilities

• Own architectural scope for assigned sites: envelope, code compliance, and life safety from review through closeout.
• Review architectural packages for constructability and conformance to the reference design.
• Drive permitting and AHJ coordination on architectural and life safety scope to keep schedule.
• Resolve field architectural issues: envelope details, firestopping, egress conflicts.
