Job summary

StratasCorp Technologies in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii seeks an experienced network support specialist to assist deployed units with routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DNS, AD, and Exchange. Role requires planning-phase advisory support and on-site execution assistance.

Qualifying candidates have Active Secret clearance, a high school diploma, Security+, and CCNA or equivalent certs. U.S. location and on-site work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing deployed network support in field environments.
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot AD accounts and networking devices.
• Familiarity with Cisco routers and IDS environments.
• Knowledge of IA and security certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IA training development and deployment activities.
• Support D-30 processes and coordinate logistics for hardware/software movement.

Job description

This role is located on site in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Individual must report to work on site daily; there is no remote or work from home options available.

Job Description

• Provide network technical advice and assistance during the planning phase of a deployment or exercise and coordinate swift solutions to networking problems during the execution phase.


• Provide direct computer and network support to include router, firewall, Intrusion Detection Systems/Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD) and Exchange, configuration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting to USMC deployed units.


• Assist in the development and execution of Information Assurance (IA) training for deployed units.


• Provide direct support to the D-30 process.


• Support operational requirements for the operational environment; identify required Hardware (HW) and Software (SW); submit personnel foreign country clearance requests and obtain necessary visas; document the result of the deployment in a Government-provided template with input and conduct a post-deployment review with the Government; coordinate return of any unused and reusable equipment to stock; coordinate the transportation of all HW and SW required to support contingency operations and obtain all import permits.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $50,000 to $60,000 annually. The anticipated salary range for this position is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The final starting salary will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, skills, relevant experience, education, certifications, and work location (where applicable), as well as internal equity and market considerations.
