Job summary

General Atomics Systems Integration, LLC (GA-SI) based at Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada, seeks a Munitions Technician to operate, test, and install aircraft munitions and related equipment.

This position requires the ability to deploy CONUS and OCONUS, long periods of standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, and working in an industrial flightline setting. A TS/SCI clearance is required and a flex hourly deployment rotation with full benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency and 3+ years in aircraft munitions handling.
• Ability to perform moderately complex tasks with knowledge of munitions handling and troubleshooting.
• Experience with munitions machinery, systems, and measurement devices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and reporting.
• Must be able to deploy CONUS and OCONUS and obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, disassembles, tests and installs munitions items.
• Inspects and maintains equipment to support munitions production.
• Troubleshoots and repairs systems per technical instructions and regulations.
• Installs/modifies parts, conducts testing, and works with PPE in flightline environments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
