Job summary

TDX Global is seeking a Field Service Representative to support the day-to-day operation of large Caterpillar diesel generators at Fort Bliss. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment, with the technician serving as the primary contact for on-site issues and coordinating with operators and management.

Requires a valid driver's license, US passport for international travel, and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
10+ years of experience with diesel engine driven generators.
Working knowledge of power plant generation systems including UPS, LV/MV distribution, control circuitry.
Experience with electrical controls, transfer systems, and testing/troubleshooting of generators and switchgear.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations for Caterpillar 650kW diesel generators (medium voltage 4160).
Serve as Field Service Representative for client, guiding operators in operation, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Provide 24-hour technical support to Power Systems Manager as needed.
Troubleshoot and repair faults outside regular maintenance; guide operators when required.
Deploy with team for local and international assignments; readiness to deploy within 36 hours.
