Job Summary
Residential Educators live within the learning community providing education and support to students, who, in addition to their academic program, are also learning how to live, socialize and access resources on a college campus. In addition, educators provide residential on-duty support, crisis response and policy enforcement. During the summer session, Residential Educators will also work with other programs such as pre-college offerings etc. and will work directly with student staff.
The ideal candidate for the role will be a recent college graduate with experience as a residential advisor and a passion for learning and working with youth. This is not meant to be a permanent position but rather an opportunity for recent graduates to gain experience in a program of this type in the Boston Area. Each year new Residential Educators are chosen to hold this position based on their alignment with their career goals and undergraduate experience and a relationship and/or commitment to the Student Life program goals and principles.
