Endeavor Health is seeking a Department Support Assistant for Labor and Delivery in Arlington Heights, IL. The role is full-time, 32 hours per week, with shifts 7:00am-7:30pm and every other weekend.

Responsibilities include front desk coverage, greeting patients, handling mail, and coordinating department tasks. A high school diploma and BLS certification are required, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Epic software experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year hospital experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.31 - $28.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

• Provides front desk coverage which includes answering and directing incoming calls
• Greeting patients and family members and provide assistance as needed
• Collecting and distributing department mail
• Performs related general duties such as monitoring and ordering supplies, submitting work orders, collating and assembling documents,

What you will need

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and other department related systems
• Highest level of customer service skills
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Minimum of one year hospital experience preferred
• High School Degree required
• BLS (from American Heart Association) required
