Job summary

Endeavor Health is hiring an RN – Labor and Delivery in Arlington Heights, IL for a full-time schedule (36 hours/week). Hours are 7pm–7:30am with every third weekend and holiday rotation. A $25,000 sign-on bonus is offered and a minimum of 18 months L&D experience is required.

The role requires a nursing degree (Associates or BSN), IL licensure, and CPR certification, with salary structure under ongoing compensation review.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year current experience in Labor and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.
