Job summary

Hamrick's Inc. seeks a Department Supervisor to ensure our stores are neat, clean, and well merchandised. You guide customers through visual presentation, signage, and organization to support their shopping decisions and train associates in your area.

This supervisory role works with department assistants and other sales staff to delegate tasks, maintain standards, stay current with ads, and uphold safety policies while delivering consistent results for the department.

Responsibilities

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities within your department; follow up on results; provide direction.
• Motivate department assistants and sales associates; maintain a positive work environment.
• Merchandise the sales floor; maintain standards for presentation, signage, and product lifecycle in assigned department.
• Communicate professionally with associates, customers, and corporate officials.
• Gain product knowledge and respond to questions, recommending other products.
• Stay current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by adhering to safety procedures.
• Uphold company policies and procedures.
• Utilize company reports and tools; collaborate with leadership to deliver results.
• Assist team members in other areas as directed by supervisor.
