Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor at one of its Distribution Centers in West Memphis, AR.

The role oversees daily warehouse operations within a defined area (Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack, or Forklift) and ensures safety, quality, and efficiency across the shift. You will lead up to 40 associates, coach staff, enforce standards, coordinate with other DC departments, and report on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
• Familiarity with RF and pick-to-light systems is desired.
• Ability to work multiple shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess situations, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Area Operations: Manage and oversee up to 40 associates and all related functions within your assigned area. Ensure work area is appropriately staffed for each shift and production, quality, and safety standards are maintained. Provide orientation, coaching, and training to associates on department processes, systems, and procedures. Administer corrective actions as needed. Coordinate and communicate with other departments within the DC to achieve daily operational goals. Conduct physical inspections of assigned work areas and equipment; initiate work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment. Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained and input required data for reporting purposes.
• Leadership & Compliance: Lead, coach, and support associates toward professional success and skill development. Ensure adherence to non-negotiables related to safety, sanitation, quality, and operational standards. Maintain compliance with Distribution Center practices, policies, and procedures.

About Your Role

Your Required Skills and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1–3 years of supervisory or management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) and pick-to-light systems is desired.
• Ability to work multiple shifts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Analytical ability to assess situations, prioritize tasks, and implement solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience supervising multiple teams within a distribution or warehouse environment.
