Job summary

Wastequip's Salisbury, NC production facility seeks a qualified Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing and assembly of products, ensuring deliveries stay on budget and on schedule. You will develop KPIs for leadership and team members to track daily goal achievement and overall performance.

You will lead scheduling, quality control, safety, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, purchasing, and sales.

• Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in metal fabrication and manufacturing.
• Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes metrics and standards to evaluate department efficiency and effectiveness; identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Reviews and analyzes process flows within departments and coordinates cross-functional activities.
• Implements inventory control metrics, cycle counts, and scrap disposition.
• Enforces policies to improve day-to-day production and meet schedules.
• Owns production scheduling, coordinating with engineering, purchasing, and sales.
• Ensures safe and adequate work environments; communicates new directives to teams.
• Monitors production and reports weekly metrics to management.
• Drives on-time delivery and improves customer service through quality controls.
