About the Role

As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.

A Day in the Life

Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:

  1. Customer Sales & Profit
  2. Support the OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to guidelines.
  3. Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
  4. Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with your Department Manager.
  5. Provide excellent customer service and promote our Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives.
  6. Manage fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
  7. Handle administrative routines for people and operations correctly.

Fashion & Trend Awareness

  1. Stay updated with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
  2. Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.

Team & Development

  1. Share knowledge and skills with the team.
  2. Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers.
  3. Give and receive feedback to support development.
  4. Communicate regularly to motivate and inform colleagues.
  5. Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements.

Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution

  1. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
  2. Ensure high-quality visual and product presentation.
  3. Manage stock levels and provide input on allocations.
  4. Oversee the full garment cycle and fitting routines.
  5. Utilize in-store tech tools and services effectively.
  6. Maintain consistent pricing signage according to guidelines.
  7. Keep BOH areas updated and secure store opening and closing routines.

Additional Information

Compensation: $18.29 - $21.58 hourly
