About the Role
As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the Sales and Profit goals in the store by executing a plan to deliver the Best Customer Experience in the department and overall store. The Department Supervisor will work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:
- Customer Sales & Profit
- Support the OMNI customer experience, ensuring visual and commercial presentation according to guidelines.
- Represent the H&M brand positively during customer interactions.
- Identify commercial opportunities and collaborate with your Department Manager.
- Provide excellent customer service and promote our Customer Loyalty App and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage fitting room and checkout routines, including transactions, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle administrative routines for people and operations correctly.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Stay updated with fashion trends, styles, brands, competitors, and influencers.
- Ensure your team provides product and fashion knowledge during customer interactions.
Team & Development
- Share knowledge and skills with the team.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandisers.
- Give and receive feedback to support development.
- Communicate regularly to motivate and inform colleagues.
- Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements.
Retail Operations/ Visual & Commercial Execution
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
- Ensure high-quality visual and product presentation.
- Manage stock levels and provide input on allocations.
- Oversee the full garment cycle and fitting routines.
- Utilize in-store tech tools and services effectively.
- Maintain consistent pricing signage according to guidelines.
- Keep BOH areas updated and secure store opening and closing routines.

Additional Information
Compensation: $18.29 - $21.58 hourly
