Job summary

YMCA in Warminster, PA is seeking a Department Operations Specialist. This is a full-time hourly role focused on pool operations, member services, safety, and registration support.

You will engage with members, assist with registrations, lifeguard duties, and uphold positive relationships while supporting a nonprofit mission. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years lifeguarding experience (preferred).
• 1+ years pool management/administration experience (preferred).
• Willingness to support the Y mission.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and surveillance of all pool participants.
• Direct service on the pool deck.
• Lifeguard and teach swim lessons.
• Provide customer service support to members and guests.
• Assist with program and membership registration and troubleshoot issues.
• Build relationships with members and guests of all ages.

Warminster, PA | Full Time, Hourly | Membership: Saturdays & Sundays: 1pm - 6pm, Lifeguarding: Mondays - Wednesdays: 6:45am - 2pm | $18.50 per hour

What is needed for this job as a Department Operations Specialist:

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of experience in customer service
• 1+ years of lifeguarding experience (preferred)
• 1+ years of experience in pool management/administration (preferred)
• Have a willingness and desire to live out the mission of the Y
• Are experienced in cash handling and can reconcile shift transactions
• Enjoyment from working with members and building positive relationships
• Must possess and maintain a current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification (training provided if necessary)
