YMCA in Easton, PA is hiring an Aquatics Specialist to oversee pool safety, teach swim lessons, and deliver high-quality service to the community. The role requires lifeguard certification or ability to obtain it, plus experience in pool management or aquatics operations. Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of pool management or aquatics administration experience preferred.

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of all pool participants with a welcoming aquatic environment.
• Provide lifeguard coverage and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Teach group and private swim lessons with an emphasis on water safety and skill development.
• Deliver excellent customer service to participants, families, and community members.
• Monitor pool operations to ensure safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with daily operation, organization, and administration of aquatic programs.
• Support aquatics program success through teamwork, professionalism, and participant engagement.

What is needed to be our Aquatics Specialist:

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1+ years of experience in pool management or aquatics administration preferred
• 1+ years of experience teaching swim lessons preferred
• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire (training provided)

• Monitor pool operations to ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Assist with the daily operation, organization, and administration of aquatic programs and activities
• Support the overall success of the aquatics program through teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to participant safety and engagement
