• 3+ years progressively responsible experience in academic or research administration.
• Experience with financial management and supervision of professional staff.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of management principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of UCLA policies in academic, staff, budget, and purchasing areas.
• Demonstrated budget management and cost analysis experience.
• Knowledge of UCLA Corporate Financial Services and related policies.
• Budget planning and forecasting skills.
• Ability to recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Excellent customer service and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.
