Job summary

Runnings in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Department Manager for the Paint, Electrical, Plumbing and Hardware departments. You will drive merchandising, sales and customer service within your department and report to the Store Manager. Must be able to work days, nights, and every other weekend.

Extensive knowledge of Paint, Electrical, Plumbing and Hardware is preferred; pay ranges from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Customer Service training and/or experience preferred.
• Experience in retail management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Description

We have career opportunity as a Department Manager of our Paing/Electrical/Plumbing/Hardware departments. The Department Manager is responsible for merchandising and sales within his or her assigned department. Department Managers are responsible to provide the highest level of customer service and report to the Store Manager. This position will require ability to work days, nights, and every other weekend. Extensive knowledge and understanding of Paint, Electrical, Plumbing and Hardware items is preferred.

Pay Range: $14.00-$17.00 Depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and coordinate the merchandising of assigned products.
• Set priorities for distribution of new merchandise within the assigned department.
• Ensure adequate inventory in all areas of assigned department.
• Assist customers with purchases.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma preferred
