Job summary

H&M in the United States seeks a Department Manager to lead and develop an inclusive, entrepreneurial team. You will ensure an excellent operational and visual experience for customers and colleagues while analyzing sales, setting goals, and planning actions to optimize profits.

Day-to-day responsibilities include omni customer experience, recruitment and performance management, in-store sustainability, stock and merchandising, opening/closing, and delivering fashion knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own omni customer experience with visual and commercial curation per global guidelines.
• Identify opportunities, set sales and budget goals, and create plans to optimize results.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop your store team, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Lead store operations including stock, fitting rooms, checkout, and admin routines.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandiser team and ensure in-store sustainability initiatives.
• Open and close the store daily and ensure procedures are followed.
