Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Texas seeks an experienced plant operations leader to oversee a plant within a regional fleet and potentially multiple sites. The role includes directing safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and providing engineering and maintenance support.

The ideal candidate has substantial supervisory experience, a college degree or applicable certifications, and proven ability to manage OT as required.

Qualifications

• Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to some of the skills listed.
• Highschool diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 6 years supervisory/management experience required.
• Proficiency with plant operations, mechanical, and electrical principles required.
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned.
• Level of position will be determined by applicable education and skills/experience.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for a Plant within the regional fleet, may oversee multiple sites or mine sites.
• Provide leadership for safety, environmental and regulatory compliance, and operational support.
• Lead long- and short-range planning, resource planning, project and contractor management, staffing and employee development.
