Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Department Lead to ensure efficient operations within your assigned department. You will oversee scanning outs, inventory, price changes, and planogram sets to maintain a high standard of presentation and profitability.

You will also drive customer service excellence, support front-end transactions, and participate in cross-training to support a 40-hour workweek with varied hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail experience in a department role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
• Adaptability to shifting priorities and business needs.
• Ability to work well in a team and across departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scanning outs, inventory management, recovery, and price changes.
• Manage planogram sets and ensure department cleanliness and signing accuracy.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with inquiries and product locations.
• Support front-end operations with transactions and loadouts as needed.
• Participate in cross-training and learning initiatives to increase flexibility.
• Adhere to company merchandising guidelines and maintain safe, organized work areas.
